A writer and translator, Mimi Park founded Thomas Park in Seoul, Korea which has been working as a unique art gallery where writers, designers and artists can meet and exchange their ideas. She is the author of three books on art and culture New Yorker, Taste, My Own Private City and has translated books such as Light Years, Last Night by James Salter, Namesake, Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri, Hopper by Mark Strand, Women and Art by Edward Lucie-Smith, and The Accidental Masterpiece by Michael Kim melman, Sartorialist by Scott Schumann and many others all published in Korea. Since it opened in 2013, Thomas Park has shown artists with a strong sense of our time and tradition from Korea, the US and beyond. Keeping its original space in Seoul, Thomas Park New York opened its New York location on Chrystie St. in November 2018. In October 2020, during the pandemic in Seoul, she opened an exhibition called "CLUMSY" which marks the beginning of a new life & style movement.
